The Process

Every bundle goes through a careful preparation process to ensure your hair arrives clean, conditioned, and ready to wear:

• Thorough washing
• Disinfection
• High-temperature steam setting to create the Water Wave texture
• A second wash and deep-conditioning treatment personally performed by Kay

Ready-to-Wear Convenience

Please Note: Because Kay personally washes and deep conditions each bundle before shipping, your Virgin Water Wave hair will arrive with a looser curl pattern.

This is completely normal! Washing and conditioning can relax the original steam-set wave pattern. This can happen with virgin hair bundles that have been washed before installation.

We typically recommend washing your bundles before wearing them when purchasing hair that has not been prepped. However, these bundles have already been washed and deep conditioned for you, so your hair arrives clean, conditioned, and READY TO WEAR! No additional wash is needed before installation.
